Get your pet’s picture with Santa, help the Fayetteville Animal Shelter

What are you guys doing on Sunday?

If you’re not busy, and you have a dog, cat, donkey, or other pet (don’t bring your donkey), maybe you should stop by PetSmart and get your dog, cat, or donkey’s picture made with old Kris Kringle (Do not bring your donkey).

A photographer will be on hand at the store taking pictures of pets with old Santa Claus on Sunday, Dec. 19 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. The pictures are just $5, and all of the proceeds benefit the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.

Coincidentally, the shelter could use a little extra help this holiday season. According to superintendent Justine Middleton, the shelter is a little overwhelmed with animals right now. More people than usual are surrendering their pets this year for some reason, and the shelter is in serious need of fosters, adopters, and supplies.

Items needed currently, other than loving homes for animals, are paper towels, bleach, laundry soap, dish soap, dry kibble, and toys for the cats and dogs.

So, if you’re not busy Sunday, take your pet to PetSmart, get his (or her) picture taken, and grab a few supplies for the shelter while you’re there.

And seriously, if you have a donkey, don’t bring it. Thanks.
