Reports: Car catches fire at UA’s Harmon Avenue parking deck

All was quiet at the Harmon Avenue Garage parking deck on the UA campus a few hours after a vehicle caught fire Tuesday morning.

According to Fayetteville police dispatch logs, firefighters responded to a passenger vehicle fire at around 9 a.m. at 146 N. Harmon Avenue.

Soon after, multiple reports emerged with news that a vehicle had caught fire in the Harmon Avenue Garage parking deck on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

40/29 is reporting that the driver of the vehicle did not require treatment. The Traveler reported that the car, a mid-’90s Cadillac, was completely destroyed.
