Celebrity chef Guy Fieri coming to Walton Arts Center June 1

Of all the blonde, spiky-haired chefs in the universe, none has spikier, blonder hair than Food Network star Guy Fieri.

The chef and star of NBC’s Minute To Win It (and several Food Network shows) will be bringing that blonde, spiky hair to Fayetteville for a performance at Walton Arts Center at 7 p.m. June 1.

Fiery got crazy famous in 2006 when he first appeared on the reality series Food Network Star. Since then, he’s appeared on Guy’s Big Bite, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Tailgate Warriors, Guy Off the Hook, and others for the network. He’s also the author of two best selling books, and owns several successful restaurants around the country.

His appearance in town is part of the Walton Arts Center’s 11th annual Art of Wine Festival, and will feature an opening performance by Australia-based flair bartender Hayden “Woody” Wood, and Los Angeles’ DJ Cobra.

Tickets for the Guy Fieri Food Tour go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 29. Prices range from $35 to $49. A limited number of “Kulinary Krew” packages will be available for $150. The package includes prime orchestra seating, a tour laminate, a copy of Guy Fieri Food, a pre-show meet-and-greet with Fieri, and more. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Walton Arts Center box office at 479-443-5600 or by visiting waltonartscenter.org.

All proceeds from the Art of Wine support Walton Arts Center’s education programs.
