The U of A Heifer International Chapter is teaming up with Students for a Free Tibet to hold a benefit concert, “Dance, Dance for Dairy Cows and Dharma”, at George’s Majestic Lounge this coming Sunday, April 17. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and features the music of Cadre, Candy Lee & the Sweets, Mechanical String Band, The Tunes of Pembroke, and Goose. This event is open to all ages and free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated!
Heifer International supports the Rwanda-Sustainable Dairy Enterprise Development Project to help eliminate poverty in rural Rwanda. Students for a Free Tibet donations will benefit the Tutors for Tibetans program, which is dedicated to bringing education to Tibetan children living in South Indian refugee camps.
