Two things:
1. Cross your fingers for no rain tomorrow (May 22) because it’s Block Street Block Party day and we don’t need no stinking water on it.
2. Sigh in relief that Black Lips producer Mark Ronson is still alive. He was apparently hospitalized during sessions for the Lips’ upcoming Arabia Mountain album after he and the band ate raw liver sashimi at a Japanese restaurant to prepare for the recording of a track called “Raw Meat.” We haven’t heard that song yet, but this week’s mix kicks off with another track from the album and it’s a good one.
Thanks, as always, to The Tale of The Tape for sharing.
