I hope you guys had a good Memorial day.
This week, you might notice an influx of out-of-towners around Fayetteville, and there are two reasons for this.
For one, the Walmart shareholders are in town, and they’ll be partying it up at two free concerts (Darius Rucker and Lady Antibellum, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band) before their actual meeting begins on Friday.
Also, Wakarusa starts this week, and some concert-goers might stop into town on their way to the annual music festival, beginning Thursday on the Mulberry Mountain.
A fun thing to do this week might be to sit on a patio on Dickson Street somewhere and play a game called “Walmart or Wakarusa” with the passers by. Just a suggestion.
Here’s what’s else is new.
