You know what’s better than five bands, stand-up comedy, and delicious food from awesome local places in between on a lazy summer Sunday at George’s? Experiencing all of those things while helping out a great local cause like Meals on Wheels. That’s what.
There’s a big benefit for the program this Sunday, Aug. 7 at George’s, featuring music by Hill Country, Jimmy Garret, Chester P and the Vinyl Kings, Kyle Empsall, Earl & Them, with stand-up comedy in between performances, and food from Ozark Natural Foods, Ozark Natural Bread, Jimmy John’s, Qdoba, and Theo’s.
The music schedule is below, and all of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Fayetteville Meals on Wheels program to help deliver food to seniors around the city.
