Artist’s Laboratory Theatre issues call for ‘found’ items

The folks at Artist Laboratory Theatre are working on a special performance and they’re looking for a little help from the community.

The innovative theatre company is seeking submissions from locals for “found” items. They will use those items to develop one of their signature “Show and Tell” performances which will debut at Last Night, the New Year’s Eve celebration planned on the downtown square.

The idea is to create a show that pays tribute “to the stories of the anonymous people who left their legacy in forms both ephemeral and cyber” around Fayetteville.

The found items can be anything from grocery lists, to love letters, to Craigslist ads, so long as they are found in Fayetteville. Past items used in Artist Laboratory Theatre Show and Tell shows include song lyrics about a bad break-up, and a Dear Santa letter from an adult woman. Get the idea?
