Six Fayetteville arts organizations were recently awarded a total of over $94,000 in Fiscal Year 2012 grants from the Arkansas Arts Council.
Walton Arts Center received a combined $63,913, over half of which came in the form of an Arts In Education grant.
Other Fayetteville organizations receiving grants include TheatreSquared ($15,956), Washington Regional Medical Foundation Cancer Support Home ($4650), Northwest Arkansas Community Creative Center ($4,409), Arts Live Theatre ($3,528), and the Symphony Orchestra of Northwest Arkansas ($1,551).
