Here are a few interesting local notes to hold you over until Facebook’s “profound” changes “shellshock” you later today.
Local Notes
Remember yesterday when we thought we had to wait 10 days for the official results of Tuesday’s Fayetteville School Board election? It turns out that’s not the case. None of the absentee ballots from overseas involved the Zone 1 race. The winner is Steve Percival. (FPS, NWAOnline)
Speaking of yesterday, the accident on Joyce which sent three city workers to the hospital also sent two drivers to jail on DWI charges. (KNWA)
In other crime-related news, Fayetteville police said a U.S. Pizza employee was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night. (Fayetteville Flyer)
