The cookbook that the folks at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter were putting together earlier this year is ready to go.
“Doggone Perrrfect Recipes,” which includes over 400 regionally submitted recipes for both humans and pets, may be purchased for $20 at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, 1640 S. Armstrong Ave., or at the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings.
Besides recipes, each section of the book includes a photo and story of a different pet, most of which were adopted from the shelter.
“We are so proud of how the cookbook reflects the community’s love and support for the work we do here at the Shelter,” said shelter superintendent Justine Middleton.
All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook go to benefit the homeless pets cared for by the shelter.
