TheatreSquared will debut its version of Frank Capra’s holiday film “It’s A Wonderful Life,” tonight (Dec. 8) at Nadine Baum Studios.
T2 Artistic Director Robert Ford adapted the classic film for the stage, and seven actors will portray 64 roles in the theatrical version of “the century’s most inspirational film” (American Film Institute).
The story follows George Bailey, who puts his dreams on hold to take over the family business until it nearly slips out of his grasp. On Christmas Eve, he stands alone on a highway bridge, wishing he’d never been born, when a mysterious stranger appears.
Ford will direct the production, and the cast for “It’s a Wonderful Life” which includes T2 veterans Coleman Clark, Andrew Dahl, Bryce Kemph (Moonlight and Magnolias, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol), Kathy Logelin (Mauritius), Kris Stoker (The 39 Steps, My Father’s War), Sabrina Veroczi (The 39 Steps) and newcomer Sarah Behrend-Wilcox.
