Friday events, Feb. 24

Cletus Got Shot

Fayetteville’s own Cletus Got Shot will be at Smoke & Barrel Friday night. It was originally set be an album release party, but the CDs aren’t quite ready, so instead, it will be a Cletus Got Shot party. It should be equally fun, just without the party favor of a new album.

Ultra Suede is at George’s Majestic Lounge for happy hour, before Lucero and American Aquarium perform in the garden. Lucero is touring in advance of their March 13 release, Women & Work, so expect some new material. Last we heard, there are a few tickets available to the show.

Rogue has DJs Domewrekka, Sniq and Merl.

Million Dollar Quartet is at Walton Arts Center. It’s the story of a one-night jam session at Sun Studios with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins, and we’ve heard good things.
