Fayetteville police are investigating a shooting at 4153 N. Old Missouri Road near Fraizer Terrace, reports KNWA’s Marissa Stevens.
Police spokesman Sgt. Craig Stout told the station a man armed with a knife was shot multiple times in the abdomen by a resident of the home during a possible attempted burglary.
According to reports, the man who was shot was transported to Willow Creek Women’s Hospital by his cousin before being taken to Washington Regional Medical Center.
Reports also indicate the homeowner and the suspect know each other and that this was the second recent incident at the address in east Fayetteville.
