The Fayetteville Public Library will host a Tuesday evening writing course examining the short story form beginning March 27.
Noted author Rose Bunch will lead the six-week series in which participants will read and discuss published work from current literary journals and anthologies, as well as complete exercises in style, structure, voice, plot, dialogue and characterization.
Each participant will have the opportunity to workshop one non-genre short story of no more than fifteen pages, and will be expected to give constructive feedback on their classmates’ work.
This class is free and open to the public, and runs from March 27 to May 1 on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Class size is limited. Registration is required. Contact the library’s Reference Department at 479-856-7250 for details.
