A recent update to the rockIT Music Week website includes information about the second-year event including the nominees for the 2012 NAMA awards.
The weeklong event, set for April 22 through 29, includes music showcases in various venues around town, a music conference, and, of course, the Northwest Arkansas Music Awards.
This year’s awards ceremony is set for 7 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at George’s Majestic Lounge. Expect performances from Oreo Blue, The Brothers Shreve, Shannon Wurst and more.
This year’s rockIT conference is Saturday, April 28 at Legacy Blues. The event will feature panelists “working in all areas of the music business from professional producers, tour and artist managers, publicists, engineers, musicians, promoters, social media, web and studio pros.”
