Earlier this spring, the old Fayetteville High School gymnasium was demolished as part of a $90+ million transformation of the school.
Now, if you have $20, you can own a piece of the gym floor.
As a part of a fundraiser for the school’s athletic department, officials will sell portions of the wood floor from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the FPS Athletic offices. Pieces with purple paint on them are $30, and those with no purple paint are $20.
The wood pieces are about 1.5 inches wide, and about 15 inches long.
