Traffic on Crossover Road will be restricted to one lane between Kantz and Golden Oaks drives this week.
According to a city news release, the lane closure is necessary to allow for drainage work related to an ongoing 2.2-mile road-widening project on Crossover Road (Arkansas 265).
Flagmen will direct drivers through the work zone from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (May 8) through Friday, May 11.
Once the full project is complete in early 2014, the three-lane section of road from Mission Boulevard to Township Street will become a four-lane road with a center turning lane. The stretch from Township Street to Joyce Boulevard will include four lanes with a raised center median.
