Local school district elections are today and include one contested school board race in Fayetteville. Mary Beth Brooks and Traci Farrah are seeking the Zone 4 seat being vacated by Becky Purcell.
The Fayetteville Animal Shelter will offer $10 adoptions for all pets during the “‘Fall’ Into Love Adoption Extravaganza” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.
A free monthly film screening and panel discussion series kicks off at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Fayetteville Public Library.
