Crews with Fayetteville’s Parks and Recreation division work to string holiday lights Monday afternoon in preparation for the annual Lights of the Ozarks display on the downtown square. The 2012 display will be lit nightly from Nov. 17 through Dec. 31.

The Fayetteville Fire Department will host its annual pancake breakfast this Saturday, Oct. 13 in downtown Fayetteville.
A vintage arcade is set to open later this month at Evelyn Hills Shopping Center in Fayetteville. We counted nearly 74 vintage arcade games when we stopped by last week.
The University of Arkansas today announced that Slim Chickens will open a location in the new Founders Hall building currently under construction next to Brough Commons Dining Hall.
