The co-founder of what has become one of the most profitable companies in the world is coming to Fayetteville next month.
University of Arkansas officials confirmed Wednesday that inventor, computer engineer, and programmer Steve Wozniak, who founded Apple Computer with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne in 1976, will speak in Fayetteville April 7 at Barnhill Arena.
Wozniak’s appearance in Fayetteville is sponsored by the UA’s distinguished lectures committee, and according to a recent Facebook post, Wozniak “is creating a unique presentation for U of A students.”
The event is free and open to the public, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the lecture will begin at 7 p.m.
