After nearly two months of discussion, City Council members finally agreed Tuesday on a proposal that will expand the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market on the downtown square.

With the growing popularity of the Fayetteville trail system, it was only a matter of time before someone opened a trailside bar. The Nines will open July 1 along Frisco Trail.

Fayetteville was recently named one of the least expensive cities to live in the U.S. by Kiplinger.

The Fayetteville Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man and a woman suspected of stealing two vehicles from a local dealership last week.
