Officials will soon break ground on a new Hilton Garden Inn & Conference Center near the Wedington exit of Interstate 540 in Fayetteville.
The new hotel will include 115 guest rooms and suites with planned shuttle service to area businesses. The on-site conference center is set to include 8,500 square feet of space for meetings, seminars, banquets and special events with accommodations for up to 300 people.
Also planned is a full-service restaurant called The Great American Grill which will open daily for breakfast and dinner.
Other amenities include a cocktail lounge, indoor pool, 24-hour fitness and business centers, basketball and volleyball courts, plus free wifi and 42-inch LCD HDTVs in each room.
According to the company’s website, the hotel would be the fifth Hilton Garden Inn to open in Arkansas. Other statewide locations include Bentonville, Conway, Jonesboro and North Little Rock.
The Fayetteville project is led by Krushiker Hospitality Group, Inc., a longtime local developer and management company which operates several area hotels including a nearby Homewood Suites and Holiday Inn Express.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fayetteville location is planned for July 23 next to Holiday Inn Express on Shiloh Drive.
