St. Louis troubadour Pokey LaFarge is coming back to Fayetteville this fall, according to the recently-released tour schedule on his website.

The musician, known for his unique voice and original music steeped in traditional American blues, country, and Western swing, is set to perform at George’s Majestic Lounge on Sunday, Oct. 13.

LaFarge was just in Fayetteville over the summer for a performance at George’s on June 22. He was also in town to play a couple sets as part of the 2012 Fayetteville Roots Festival (he actually answered a few questions for us last year).

His new self-titeld album, produced by the infamous Jack White, was just released earlier over the summer on Third Man Records. He also has a song on the recently-released Boardwalk Empire soundtrack.

Tickets go on sale early next week at George’s ticketing site, and are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show.
