After another night of light freezing rain and snow, Fayetteville Public school officials decided to err on the side of safety and cancel classes on Thursday, Jan. 9.
The closing marks the eighth time this year school officials have cancelled classes due to weather.
According to the revised make-up day schedule, Thursday’s closure will result in a make-up day on Thursday, June 5 for regular calendar schools, and on Tuesday, Feb. 11 for continuous learning calendar schools.
Haas Hall Academy and The New School are also closed in Fayetteville on Thursday.
