It’s Black Friday, and somewhere in America, an old lady’s gonna get punched out over a toaster today. Hopefully not in Fayetteville, though. Here are a bunch of great local places you can feel good about shopping, and where probably nobody’s gonna get punched. (Probably).

The hit musical Annie is in town at The Walton Arts Center for the rest of the weekend. We’ve heard good things about the show. Tickets and info are here.

Saturday, Nov. 28

It’s the last Saturday of the month, and that means there’s a big old variety show at Fayetteville Underground. This month, there will be performances by Candy Lee, JehSea Wells, The Jinns, and The Daryl Brooks Band.

Harrison-based band and frequent visitors to Fayetteville, National Park Radio, will celebrate the release of their debut album Saturday night at George’s. Shawn James and Paper Anthem are also on the bill.

Backspace has a show as well, with Bik Fliqqr, The Chads and Tele-byte Ctrl, and Vintage Pistol is at Ryleigh’s.
