How about a show? Local troupe TheatreSquared has a new show called Fault making its debut this weekend at Nadine Baum Studios. It’s an original show written by local playwright and T2 artistic director Robert Ford. Here’s more info.
UA Theatre will also debut a new show this weekend at UA Global Campus on the square. The Motherf**ker With The Hat was a 2011 Tony Award winner for best play, and UA Theatre will be performing the show through the weekend. Here’s more.

Saturday, Feb. 6
It’s Mardi Gras time! The annual Fat Saturday Parade of Fools is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. on Dickson Street. Here’s our story, including info on the parade route.
Prison Stories Project’s Stories from the Inside Out is set for Saturday night at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The show features actors performing real stories from inmates in the local women’s correctional facility, and they are typically compelling, powerful, and heartbreaking all at the same time. The show starts at 7 p.m., and there’s a $10 suggested donation at the door.
The symphony is also back in town. SoNA will be performing their Valentine Pops show at Walton Arts Center Saturday night. Ticket info is here.
There’s a big EDM show at George’s on Saturday night with Wick-It the Instagator and Manic Focus. Tickets.
Ryleigh’s also has a big show with Denver electro-hip-hop act, Krooked Drivers. Locals Galaxy Tour Guides are also on the bill.
Frost Fest, the state’s first winter beer festival, kicks off at 3 p.m. Saturday at 603 W. Ash Street, just around the corner from Fossil Cove Brewing where owner Ben Mills plans to soon build his new brewery.
