Square to Square ride
Staff photo
The Farmers’ Market is the place to be on Saturday mornings in Fayetteville. Everybody knows that.
Also on Saturday, the second annual Square to Square ride will take off from the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, and make its way toward Lawrence Plaza on the Bentonville Square. Finishers of the 32 mile ride will receive a t-shirt, pint glass, and commemorative medal. There will also be Artosphere Trail Mix concerts set up along the way.
University of Arkansas commencement is on Saturday on campus, and that means that all the restaurants in the downtown area are gonna be crazy busy.
There’s lots of good music in town as well. Excellent Joplin-based rock band Me Like Bees is back in town for a show at George’s with Randall Shreve and the Devilles and Surf De Soleil.
Also in rock, locals Ten High will headline a four-band bill at Backspace, and Fort Smith electronic outfit Fractal Sky will perform at Ryleigh’s.
