Wilson Park public swimming pool opens May 28

The Wilson Park swimming pool will open for the 2016 season on Saturday, May 28.

The public pool offers recreational swimming, instructional swim lessons, adult lap swim, fitness opportunities, pool rentals, and family swim times. Concessions are also available.

Daily admission is $4 for adults and $3 for youth (15 and under). Season passes are available for individuals or families.

Dive-in Movies: June 3 – Tangled; June 24 – MAX; July 15 – Inside Out; Aug. 5 – Ratatouille

The pool will also host a series of free movies beginning Friday June, 3. The events, sponsored by the Fayetteville Firefighters Association, begin at dusk. See the schedule and movie lineup below.

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Swim Lessons
12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Adult Lap
1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Open Swim
5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Swim Lessons / Adult Lap
7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Family Swim

Saturday – Sunday
1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Open Swim
