There’s a big music festival down on the Mulberry River this weekend. The first ever Homegrown Music Fest kicked off on Thursday and runs through Sunday at Byrd’s Adventure Center. The festival features bluegrass acts from all over the country. Friday night headliners include Taarka, Earphunk, and Leftover Salmon. Ticket info is here.
There’s plenty of good music in Fayetteville as well. There’s a rock show at Smoke & Barrel with Rat Brats and Party Static, locals Boom! Kinetic are at George’s, and The Pickin’ Post is hosting a show at Fayetteville Public Library Friday night with songwriter Jack Williams.
