The Washington County Fair is in town this week, and Friday night, they’ll host the carnival will host their annual Midnight Madness special on armbands. From 10 a.m. until 2 a.m., they’re just $20 for unlimited rides. Here’s more info about fair events this year.

TheatreSquared’s new show All the Way opened last weekend, and we’ve heard good things. There are several performances at Nadine Baum Studios this weekend. Here’s a schedule.

Also Friday night, red dirt country artist Stoney Larue is back in town for a show at George’s. Tickets are $20, and it looks like there are still some available at George’s ticketing site.

Saturday, Sept. 3

Saturday’s gonna be a great day to head to the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market. They’ll be hosting another of their Cooking Local demonstrations at 9 a.m. with Arsaga’s chef Patrick Lane. Artists from the Fayetteville Underground are also planning another Art Mandala arranged using market produce.

The first Razorback football game of the 2016 season is Saturday as well. The Hogs will take on Louisiana Tech at 3 p.m. at Razorback Stadium.

Music-wise, local bands Manchild and Brothers & The Others will perform at Smoke & Barrel Saturday night, and Randall Shreve & The Devilles will host their annual Saints and Sinners Masquerade Ball at George’s.

There’s also a big comedy show at Mermaids, featuring local comedians Troy Gittings, Stetson Banks, Brett Robinson and Zac Slusher, along with St. Louis comedian Sarah Pearl. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
