Fall commencement at the University of Arkansas is set for this Saturday, Dec. 17 at Bud Walton Arena.
A total of about 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students will participate in the ceremony this year, roughly the same amount as last year.
Doors to the arena will open at 7:30 a.m., and commencement will begin at 9 a.m. There will also be a pre-ceremony concert by the Boston Mountain Brassworks, the U of A faculty brass quintet, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Chancellor Joseph Steinmetz will deliver the commencement address this year.
Parking for people with disabilities is available in Lot 60 just west of the arena. Seating for people with disabilities is available on the concourse level, which is accessible by elevator. All guests must enter through the south entrance, but tickets are not required.
For those who are unable to attend the event, the ceremony will be steamed online.
