In just under two weeks, somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 people will flood Block Avenue for the seventh annual Block Street Block Party in Fayetteville. As of today, we have a better idea of the music they’ll be shaking their money makers to once they arrive.
Organizers of the festival this week announced the music schedule for this year’s event.

What: Block Street Block Party
When: Sunday, May 21
Where: Block Avenue, Fayetteville
More info: Facebook event
Over 40 bands, DJs, and solo acts will perform on six stages this year during the event, set for Sunday, May 21 from noon until dark.
In addition, the party will feature tons of artists and crafters showcasing their wares, activities at booths and businesses along the street, food trucks, a waiter’s race, and a whole lot more.
Organizers are still seeking volunteers to help them pull off this year’s event, and you can follow along with future announcements at the official Facebook page for the event.
