The Wood Brothers / Courtesy
It’s Fayetteville Roots Festival weekend, y’all, and that means there’s music all over the place over the next few days.
The main stage lineup at the Fayetteville Town Center on Friday night includes The Honey Dewdrops, Joe Purdy, Beau Jennings, River Whyless, John Paul White, and The Wood Brothers.
Over at George’s, Amy Helm will play happy hour along with Earl & Them. Earl Cate has a long history with the Helm family, as you all probably know. It’s gonna be a sweet show. Later on at George’s, Elephant Revival and Mandolin Orange will be on the big stage out back.
There’s a sweet late night show at Maxine’s as well, featuring Dana Louise & The Glorious Birds.
TheatreSquared has a brand new show opening this week as well. The company debuted their version of the Tony Award-winner Fun Home earlier this week at Nadine Baum Studios, and there are performances scheduled through the weekend.
The 112 Drive In is hosting a retro weekend, and will be showing Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Back to the Future Friday – Sunday. Here’s more about that.
There’s a lot more below.
