Weekends start with a good happy hour, and George’s has been in that business for decades. This week, local favorites Full House will be kicking off the weekend after work.

There’s a Southtown Comedy Show at Nomad’s with comic Jeff Zenisek.

Also this weekend, TheatreSquared continues their run of the award winning show, Fun Home. Our reviewer loved the show.

Eureka Springs-based band Jimmy Wayne Garrett and Liberty Bell are in town for a show Friday night at Stage 18.

Saturday, Sept. 9

The first home football game of the year is on Saturday. The Hogs will take on the Horned Frogs of TCU at 2:30 p.m at Razorback Stadium. Here’s more info about the game for those interested in a little preview.

There’s an art show at Local Color Studio Callery. It’s called Bouquet, and features work by Leana Fisher, Brittney Owens, and Jacob Troutt. Here’s some more info.

Comedy-wise, local improv troupe Phunbags Comedy Improv will perform at Stage 18 at around 8 p.m.

Local band Boom! Kinetic will be providing the soundtrack to the Razorback victory celebration (hopefully) at George’s on Saturday night. Admission to the show is $10.
