Local bands The Inner Party and White Mansion are celebrating the release of new recordings Friday night at Smoke & Barrel. The Inner Party is releasing a full length album called Darker today, and White Mansion recently released an EP, Everything in This Room Falls on cassette. We talked to The Inner Party about their new record earlier this week.

Also Friday night, there’s a ‘Bring your Own Vinyl’ night at Stage 18. Share some records you love.

How about some comedy? Nomad’s is hosting their Southtown Comedy Night this weekend with a performance by Roxxy Haze.

It’s pretty much peak Farmers’ Market season right now, so start down there on Saturday.

Local non-profit farm, Tri Cycle Farms, is celebrating their 7th year in business with a party on Saturday morning. Here’s more info about that.

Cowboy comedian Rodney Carrington will perform at Walton Arts Center on Friday night. It’s one of their first shows of the 2018 season.

Music-wise, there’s a big show at the AMP with G-Eazy, Nick Shoulders is playing a solo show at Dickson Street Pub, 90s cover band Mixtapes are at George’s, and Little Rock songwriter Adam Faucett is in town for a show at Backspace with May the Peace of the Sea Be With You and Theta Theorem. Faucett has a brand new album as well, and will have copies of it at the Backspace show.
