Chefs in the Garden set for Sept. 11 at Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks’ will host its annual Chefs in the Garden fundraiser from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 on the garden grounds at 4703 N. Crossover Rd. in Fayetteville.

The event typically features dishes from some of the best chefs in the region for attendees to sample. Participating restaurants this year include Bordinos, Mockingbird Kitchen, Bocca, Ella’s, Meiji, Fork & Crust Pie Co. and several others.

This year’s honorary chef is Mario Valdovino, who serves as corporate executive chef and senior director of culinary innovations at Tyson Foods. He has also appeared as a guest judge on the Food Network show “Chopped.”

Tickets to Chefs in the Garden are $50 for Botanical Garden of the Ozarks members, and $75 for non-members. The ticket price for the event includes the cost of food, as well as premium cocktails.
