Musician Amy Helm, daughter of The Band’s Levon Helm, will be back in town for a show at George’s Majestic Lounge Friday night. We talked to her earlier this week about her connection to Fayetteville, and other things. Tickets to the show are $20-$25, and last we heard, there were still some available. Earl & Them is also on the bill.

There’s a rock show at Smoke & Barrel with excellent Alabama band Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires with locals, Ten High. Lee Bains & The Glory Fires just put out a sweet live album. Listen here.

TheatreSquared’s brand new show Skeleton Crew opened this week at Nadine Baum Studios. It’s a New York Times Critics’ Pick and 2016 OBIE Award-winner. Here’s some more info.

Pump Track World Championships / Courtesy

Want to see the best pump track riders in the world race to see who is the fastest? You’ll get a chance in Springdale on Saturday, as the Red Bull Pump Track World Championships will be held at the new pump track recently constructed at The Jones Center. It’s a $10 ticket, and the race happens at 9 a.m. Update: Rain on Saturday could effect the start time for this. We’ll try to update this post with info as we receive it.

How about a mini golf tourney? The folks from Single Parent Scholarship Fund will host their annual Golftoberfest event at Gator Golf event on Saturday morning. First flight is at 10 a.m.

You could also watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets outdoors, with a live score provided by the local Symphony of Northwest Arkansas as well. That will be happening at the Walmart AMP on Saturday night.

JBGB is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday night, featuring live music by local band, Bottle Rocket. There will be brats, beer cheese, and pretzels, a stein hoisting competition, and they’ll also celebrate the release of a new Hefeweizen.

There’s a lot more below. Have an awesome weekend, everyone.
