‘Tis the season for holiday shows, and there’s one playing at Walton Arts Center this weekend. Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s The Nutcraker is at Walton Arts Center, with multiple performances scheduled through the weekend. The show features several local dancers as well. Here’s more info.
Some bad mammer-jammer songwriters are performing at Stage 18 on Friday night. The venue will host three songwriters that have already been inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, including Sean Harrison, Kenny Cornell and Jim Paul Blair. Admission is $5 at the door.
There’s a huge metal show at George’s on Friday night, featuring experimental metal band (and former Fayettevillians Chip King and Lee Buford), The Body, along with Author & Punisher and Bones Of The Earth. Tickets are $10, available here.
How about some comedy? Local comedian Ray Porter will present a Black Friday Comedy Extravaganza at Nomad’s on Friday night. It’s a free show (how’s that for a Black Friday deal?) Here’s more info.

It’s the Last Saturday of the month, and that means it’s time for a variety show at American Legion in Fayetteville. This month’s show will feature performances by Jesse Dean, Blaire Hastings, and Megha Rao.
Wanna hear some 90s country hits? You’ll want to head down to George’s on Saturday night, then, where some local musicians have put together a Garth Brooks Tribute Show. Admission is $8-10, on sale here.
There’s a rock show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern on Saturday night, featuring Mouton, The Chads, and Jess Harp & The Harp Breakers. It’s a $5 show.
