You know what’s good on a Friday night? A rock show. And there’s a big one happening at George’s with Oklahoma indie rockers Broncho and locals, White Mansion. It’s another On The Map presents show. Tickets are $12-$15, on sale here.

A hip hop show might also hit the spot, and there’s one of those at Smoke & Barrel with Little Rock rapper, Sean Fresh & the The Nasty Fresh Crew.

There’s a rockabilly show show at George’s with Rackensack and the Boss Tweeds for happy hour at George’s, and if you’re feeling like some comedy, another installment of the Southtown Comedy Night is taking place at Nomad’s with comedians Brad Sativa and Eddie Ortiz.

If you haven’t seen TheatreSquared’s holiday show Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley yet, there are several chances to do that as well this weekend. Here’s more info.

Saturday, Dec. 15

It’s hard to believe, but Smoke & Barrel Tavern is celebrating 10 years in business this month. Their party is happening Friday night, where stage regular Jeff Kearny will perform, along with Homeschool Dropouts, followed by a Worst Party Ever dance party. There will be cake. Congrats, dudes. Here’s a set of photos we took of their opening party from 10 years ago.

SoNA will perform their annual holiday show, A Very SoNA Christmas this weekend at Walton Arts Center. There are a couple performances on Saturday, and their family-friendly show, The Snowman: A Family Concert is on Sunday. Here’s more info.

There’s another rock show at Backspace on Saturday night as well, with Archbuilders, Holy Smokes!, and Down Under.
