Falsettos, playing at Walton Arts Center this weekend. / Courtesy graphic
If you like live theatre, this weekend is definitely for you. There are so many options for checking out a play this weekend.
Tony Award®-winning musical Falsettos is playing at Walton Arts Center, for example.
Speaking of award winners, Emmy winner Liz Callaway will conclude her run in TheatreSquared’s version of Every Brilliant Thing at Nadine Baum this weekend. Tickets are here.
Also, UA Theatre will continue their run of the Bard’s Macbeth this weekend, and local company The Smokehouse Players will perform Valentine’s and Killer Chili (with actual killer chili) at the Ozark Mountain Smokehouse this weekend. Here’s more about that.
How about some comedy? Nomad’s will host another installment of their Southtown Comedy Night Saturday night with comedian Richard Douglas Jones.
In music, there’s a three act bill at Backspace with Fran, Bret Koontz, and Jess Harp, and local funk band Vanimal Kingdom will play at Mojo’s Pints & Pies.
There’s plenty more below.

Randall Shreve as Freddie Mercury / Courtesy
Local musician Randall Shreve is performing a tribute to one of his idols Saturday night. Shreve will perform a set of Freddie Mercury tunes at George’s, and as our own Kevin Kinder found out this week, he’s really getting into the role. Here’s more about the show.
There’s a fun sounding event at Tri Cycle Farms Saturday morning. They’ll host a class on herbal teas made from farm-grown ingredients, and you can make-and-take your own teas while you’re there. It’s $20, and there are only 15 spots. Here’s more.
Nomad’s has a show with local bands The Salesman and Ghost Cities, along with Muskogee, OK act Esc Ctrl.
There’s more below. Have a great weekend, everyone.
