Some of the best athletes in the country will be in town this weekend competing in the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Randall Tyson Track Center. Here’s some more info about that.
Local DIY venue and gallery Lalaland is closing down, but not before one final two-day blowout at the space. Seven bands will be performing at the Friday night show, including Dylan Earl (solo) Untight (sam king solo), Sad Palomino, The Wirms, Peace of the Sea, The Chads, and Ten High.
Also in tunes, Maryland rockers Clutch are in town for a show at George’s, Warehouse Collective is at Mojo’s Pints & Pies, and local songwriter Willi Carlisle will perform a set at The Nines Alley.

Also in tunes, there’s a big show at Smoke & Barrel with a couple excellent local bands. Terminus and White Mansion will share the bill. It’s a $5 show.
