UPDATE: Police on Friday said during the investigation, the department received numerous tips, which led detectives to a bus stop located at 955 N. Shiloh Drive where they located the suspect, who was arrested without incident for aggravated robbery, shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass.
Police are asking for help identifying and locating an armed robber who stole money at about 8:40 a.m. Friday from Centennial Bank at 3010 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Fayetteville.
According to Fayetteville police, the robber was described as a white male in his 20s, possibly wearing a black jacket with blue pants that have a blue strip down the side.
