Light a punk, strap some bottle rockets to your little brother’s Avenger’s action figures, and send those suckers to oblivion, everyone. It’s almost time for the 4th of July.
As always, we’ve scoured the internet searching for local fireworks displays and Independence Day celebrations to try and answer the question, “Where can I watch fireworks in Fayetteville (or Farmington, or Prairie Grove, or Rogers, etc.) in 2019?”
For the fourth year, there is no free, municipally-sponsored fireworks show in Fayetteville. The Advertising and Promotion Commission last year discussed adding a Fayetteville show in 2019, but A&P director Molly Rawn said that display will not materialize this year. She added that she remains hopeful about the possibility of adding a Fayetteville display to this list in the future, however.
We did find several displays around the region, however, and they’re all free to attend and open to the public.
We’ll also likely add to this list between now and the holiday, and as always, feel free to let us know about anything we missed in the comments.
Happy 4th of July, everyone.
