For the last 15 years, the folks at George’s have been celebrating Jerry Garcia’s Birthday with a tribute show the first weekend of Aug. That show is happening again this weekend, this time with performances by Sean Canan’s Voodoo Players and Friends of the Phamily. Tickets are $12, available here.

There’s a rock show at Backspace with locals Musclegoose, The Wirms, Moonsong, and Guitar Jar.

There’s also a comedy show in town at Nomad’s, featuring Ray Hensley & Robert “Sweaty Hands” Day.

Saturday, Aug. 3

Everyone and their dog is gonna be at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning in Fayetteville. It’s what we do.

There’s also a chance to do yoga with goats happening at Wilson Park. We heard it was sold out, but that there was a waiting list. Either way, goat yoga is happening.
