ArcBest to lease portion of Ozark Natural Foods building for new Fayetteville office

A multi-billion dollar freight and logistics company plans to open a new location in Fayetteville.

Fort Smith-based ArcBest will lease 20,000 square feet in the building currently home to Ozark Natural Foods at 1554 N. College Ave. in the Evelyn Hills Shopping Center.

According to leasing agent Sterling Hamilton of Cushman & Wakefield/Sage Partners, that leaves about 30,000 square feet in the building still available for lease.

ArcBest is a logistics and supply chain company that employs over 13,000 people. The company’s offerings include “less-than-truckload services” via their ABF Freight network, ground expedite solutions through Panther Premium Logistics, household moving under the U-Pack brand, and vehicle maintenance and repair from FleetNet America.

ArcBest plans to renovate the facility, and should be finished sometime in spring 2020.

Ozark Natural Foods last year announced plans to eventually move to a new location at 380 N. College Ave. in the building formerly home to CV’s Family Foods.
