Wanna ride around the trail system on your bike collecting playing cards for a chance to win some sweet prizes? Because that’s a thing you can do in Fayetteville next month.
The 3rd annual MTW Poker Ride is set for Sunday, Sept, 8 beginning at Damgoode Pies and ending up at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Fayetteville.
Check-in is at 11 a.m. at Damgoode, and after that, participants will make their way to West Mountain Brewing Company on the square, and then down the trail for stops at Columbus House Brewery and Tap Room, Nomad’s Trailside, and Fossil Cove Brewing before ending at the fairgrounds.
Riders will receive a playing card at each stop, and the final card and grand prize will be awarded to the best poker hand at the Fairgrounds in Fayetteville where participants can enjoy free pizza from Damgoode and beer specials, and the rider with the best poker hand will win the grand prize which is a $600 bike from Lewis and Clark Outfitters.
The Poker Ride will be hosted in conjunction with the Northwest Arkansas Outdoor Expo, a hunting, fishing, kayaking, biking and farming expo also happening that day at the Fairgrounds. The evet will include beer from local breweries, and music from Kolt Barber and Jenna & Friends.
Entry is $50 per rider, and proceeds from the event benefit Miracle Travel Works, an organization that provides financial assistance to families seeking urgent medical treatment for seriously ill or injured children.
