Friday, Sept. 13
Beers. Bands. Businesses. That’s what you’ll find at the annual Startup Crawl taking place at spots around downtown Friday night in Fayetteville. The event, organized by Startup Junkie, is created to highlight start up businesses in town, with local beers and live music along the way. Here’s our story about the event.
It’s the last weekend to be able to check out Shakespeare in Love, the first show ever at TheatreSquared’s brand new facility. It’s kind of a piece of Fayetteville history, when you think about it. Here’s where to get tickets.
Also in shows, you could check out Blue Man Group at the Walton Arts Center. It’s their first leg of their world tour, so Fayetteville is getting the first look at the new show. Here’s ticket info.
Music-wise, there’s a three band bill at Backspace with Warm Leather, Musclegoose, and Sweet Darlin’. You can also check out Denver-based jam band, The Motet, at George’s Majestic Lounge.

Judason Void
It’s gonna be a beautiful morning for the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market on Saturday on the square.
The Hogs are back in action on Saturday night. They’ll try to get revenge on Colorado State for last year’s game when they take on the Rams at 3 p.m. at Razorback Stadium.
Music-wise, locals Judason Void will celebrate the release of their debut album at Smoke & Barrel Saturday night. Fellow locals Claw Marks American will also perform.
There’s a country show at West & Watson with Simon Flory, The Lonesome Heroes, and Statehouse Electric.
How about some comedy? There are four comedians at Backspace Saturday night with Will Hamel, Caroline Ezell, Rachel Runder, and Kaia Hodo. The event raises funds for American Immigration Council. Admission is $10. Here’s more.
