The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Washington County and western Benton County until 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Thunderstorms have already produced heavy rainfall between 1 and 2 inches, and another 1 to 2 inches is expected as rain continues, according to the NWS.
Officials said locations that may experience flooding are Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Siloam Springs, Lowell, Farmington, Prairie Grove, Genry, Elkins, Tontitown, Bethel Heights, Gravette, West Fork, Lincoln, Cave Springs, Decatur, Greenland, West Siloam Springs and Highfill.
