There are plenty of Razorback sports to check out this weekend. The Gymbacks are in action on Friday night at Barnhill Arena, taking on Auburn. There’s also a celebration of women empowerment planned that evening. There are also home series for the baseball team, who are taking on Gonzaga at Baum Walker Stadium, and the softball team has several home games this weekend as well. Details are below.

TheatreSquared has a brand new show to check out this weekend. The show, titled Ann, is a one-person show based on the life of larger-than-life former Texas governor, Ann Richards. Here’s more info.

There’s a comedy show at Nomad’s featuring comedians Jay Jackson and Krish Mohan. It starts at 8:30 p.m.

In tunes, Smoke & Barrel has locals Bootleg Royale and Honey Collective.

Saturday, Feb. 22

Fat Tuesday is coming up, which means the Fat Saturday Parade of Fools is happening this weekend in Fayetteville. The parade will make its way down Dickson Street beginning at 2 p.m.

There’s a good show at Ryleigh’s this weekend, with Little Rock songwriter Adam Faucett, along with locals Willi Carlisle, and Jamie Lou Connolly.

How about a rock show? There’s a good one at Nomad’s with The Theta Theorem, Witchsister, and Molasses Disaster.

Also on Saturday, the public can get their first look at the new Momentary contemporary art space up in Bentonville. There’s a performance art festival called Time Being happening featuring music by Courtney Barnett and FM Bellfast, along with performance artists, and more. The new ‘State of the Art 2020’ exhibit also begins up there this weekend. Here’s more.
